Mr. LAI Kin, Jerome was appointed as Independent Non-executive Director in January 2011. Mr. Lai graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a chartered accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. Mr. Lai has over 30 years of experience in accounting, management, strategic planning, auditing and taxation. Mr. Lai is currently a non-executive director of SPG Land (Holdings) Limited. He also served as chief financial officer and director at SPG Land (Holdings) Limited between 2006 and 2008. Mr. Lai was senior vice president of the finance, treasury and administration functional unit of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited between 2000 and 2003; and executive director of the finance and management services division of the Stock Exchange between 1997 and 2000.
