As a quality supplier, PC Partner maintains the highest standard throughout the entire production workflow.
Quality and Management System
Our quality and management system has been awarded the IS0 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditation for our compliance with strict international standards.
An in-process quality control is run under security at every stage of production, and, before delivery, a minimum of 24 hours burnt-in test by functional specific program is applied to all products. All outgoing products are checked by our professional quality assurance teams using the AQL standards. We also provide best in class after-sales services such as warranty and technical support to ensure all customers' needs are professionally catered for.

Measurement / Inspection Facilities
Our top-notch measurement and inspection facilities include:
- Dage X-Ray Machine for BGA solder joints inspection
- Omega Tester to assess PCBA cleanliness
- Cyber Optic to measure solder paste volume
- Agilent 3070 ICT
In Process Quality Control
To ensure all our products are complied with international standards, the following standards are adopted in our production process:
- ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, OHASA 18001 complied control
- Certified by world-leading OEMs
- Real-time SPC Control
- 100% functional verification test
- Dynamic and static burn in
- Barcode tracking system
- Capability control on critical process
Incoming Material Inspection
Since reliability and performance are crucial in our industry, we require all incoming materials to be sampled in according with ANSI/ASQC Z1.4. We are equipped with powerful testing tools such as the XGT-1000WR analyzer for measuring RoHS restricted materials. Customized tests will be performed for the following components:
- Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
Tests on dimension, artworks, tape, cosmetic and solderability
- Standard Parts
Function, ordering P/N and cosmetic are examined
- Custom Parts
Sampling on dimension, assembly and cosmetic. Material Review Board meeting will be held for all discrepancy parts.
In addition, our engineers have developed a rating system to identify, qualify and evaluate all individual components for comparison and future reference.
Material and Product Barcode System
Our plant has an advanced barcode system in place to:
- Trace the lot numbers of key components from incoming up to final product
- Trace the WIP status of the products
- Trace from any serial number provided by the customers the lot number of key components and also operators/equipments of the inspection/testing stations

Outgoing Quality Assurance
Before delivery, all our products will go through a final check via our Outgoing Quality Audit for accuracy and compliance with customer specification:
- All inspection documents are prepared by Quality Engineers according to customers' requirements and are independent documents used in production.
- Product functionality, workmanship, cosmetic and packaging will be checked.
- All shipments must go through outgoing Quality Assurance inspection before shipment.
- All inspection/testing are done on a sampling basis or according to the sampling plan we agreed with our customers, and, in either case, we observe the C = 0 rule, i.e. products with any defection found will not be accepted. Should any defection be found in the deliverables, we will perform a thorough screening of the whole lot before shipment.
- Reliability tests on random samples for record and corrective action driven purposes.
Training
Everyone on our production front is professionally trained and certified before being assigned. We keep a detailed training profile of each staff and we will, from time to time, send staff for further training according to their individual strengths and performances. Our staff can sharpen their skills and technical knowledge through professional training courses offered by recognized institutions and by attending our in-house training sessions where experts in the industry are invited as guest tutors.
Training provided to our staff include:
- Knowledge on components
- Practical skills such as soldering and use of production tools
- Standard of workmanship
- Visual inspection skills
- How to read and understand working instruction
- Regular retraining for staff
Document Control
We have a designated Document Control System to take care of all Quality/Environmental/Safety Management System required documents, such as Quality System Procedure, Engineering Documents and Working Instruction. In addition, we have a self-developed software system to handle everything from the access, storage, distribution to the approval of document.
The system covers:
- Customer Documents Control
- Identification of Controlled Documents
- Updating of Controlled Documents
- Approval of Controlled Documents
